Who caught a show at East Prov’s “CENTER STAGE” in the early 80s?? CENTER STAGE, a short-lived East Providence Concert Club delivered some serious entertainment! The 700-seat concert club located on Pawtucket Ave operated from Sept 1980 thru 1983. Artists that performed at the East Prov venue included Joe Cocker, U2, Psychedelic Furs, Cindy Lauper, Billy Preston, Thin Lizzy and B.B. King to name a few!!
